About Les Marmitons Calgary Chapter

Les Marmitons is a gastronomic and social club of gentlemen who share a common interest in fine food, wine and the culinary arts. Through regular gatherings, members gain knowledge and experience in the preparation and presentation of various fine cuisines under the direction of a specially selected professional chef.  In Calgary, our chapter formed in 1997 starting with a small group of men: to today where we are one of the largest chapters of Les Marmitons International.  Our chapter came to Calgary as folks moved west when CP Rail moved their head office to Calgary and has come a long way from those first events help in the basement of the Cook Book company.  We currently enjoy privileges at the kitchen facilities of Heritage Park and approximately 30 of us meet twice a month to learn, cook and enjoy the company of our fellow members.  Click here to visit the Les Marmitons International website or click here to go directly to the history page of Les Marmitons International.

As a club we also participate in an event where we feed the patrons of the Calgary Drop In Centre and cook for our partners for a Sweetheart's Dinner right around Valentine's Day!  Both these events are supported by our membership and have individual contributors who are passionate for their events!
